Moshe Bejski, L.L.D

Chairman of Massuah 1992-2006
Moshe Bejski was born in Poland . An activist in `HaNoar Hazioni` youth movement during World War II. In 1945 he made Aliya, setteled in Kibbutz Tel-Yizhaq, and started teaching at the agricultural Institute of Magdiel. Between 1949-1952 was on mission as the head of the Youth Aliya Department in Europe and North Africa. Studied Law in Israel and at the Sorbonne in Paris, where he was awarded the degree of L.L.D. In 1960 appointed as a judge and in 1978 promoted to the Supreme Court of Israel. Retired in 1991. Dr. Bejski dedicated considerable part of his public activities to the commemoration of the Holocaust: chairman of the Yad-Vashem committee for granting The Righteous among The Nations title, President of the Zionost Movement Supreme Court, Chairman of Massuah till 2006 |
